A high bay mounted beneath a metal roof can face hotter conditions than the factory floor. QHB-HT models are rated to +60°C, with QHB-XHT options rated to +80°C for particularly demanding installations. Select the variant against the site’s actual ambient temperature.
Round beams from 22° to 150°, plus 40° x 100° and 60° x 100° Pallet Racking Optics options for warehouse racking aisles, help match light distribution to open floors or pallet racking. The aim is useful illumination without unnecessary spill, shadows or glare.

On hot summer days, high bays face trapped warm air and radiant heat beneath metal roofs. Heat stresses electronic components and can shorten their life.
Rated for ambient temperatures up to 60°C, our QHB-HT series benefits from extra thermal headroom in these conditions. So even if temperatures aren’t approaching that limit, this buffer protects long-term performance when lower-rated lamps are stressed to their limits.

Endura Light began supplying industrial lighting in 2011. Since 2014, we have supplied LED lighting for upgrades to existing facilities and new construction projects.

An LED high bay light is a high-output industrial light fitting designed for higher mounting heights, usually above about 7 metres. High bay LED lights use controlled beam angles to deliver usable light down to the floor, racking, machinery, loading areas and work zones below.
The right wattage depends on ceiling height, required lux levels, fitting spacing, beam angle and the tasks performed below. Endura Light’s Q-Series includes models from 50W to 200W. The 150W model delivers 27,000 lumens, while the 200W model delivers 36,000 lumens. A site-specific lighting assessment helps determine the most suitable option.
The best beam angle depends on your ceiling height and workspace layout. Narrower beams can deliver more focused light from higher mounting points, while wider beams suit open areas. Endura Light’s Q-Series offers beam angles from 22° to 150°, including directional options for pallet racking aisles, helping improve light distribution and reduce wasted illumination.
Some UFO LED high bays are suitable for Australian warehouses, but it’s important to consider their operating temperature ratings and thermal management. Temperatures beneath metal roofs can be particularly high and many UFO lights aren’t rated for hot temperatures. Endura Light’s QHB-HT range is rated for ambient temperatures up to +60°C, with QHB-XHT options available for conditions up to +80°C, helping address the demands of hotter industrial environments.
Yes. Endura Light’s Q-Series high bays can be paired with compatible intelligent dimming controls for daylight harvesting and occupancy-based lighting. These systems can reduce unnecessary energy consumption in areas with changing activity levels, such as warehouse aisles and storage zones, while maintaining suitable illumination when staff or equipment are present.
If only one or two high bays have failed, individual replacement may be sufficient. However, repeated failures across fittings of a similar age may indicate that the lighting system needs reviewing.
